The biohazard threat has not ended: Just when it seemed that the menace of Resident Evil had been destroyed, along comes a new terror to send shivers down players’ spines. Chris Redfield, returning Resident Evil hero, has followed the path of the evil literally around the globe. After joining a new organization, Chris heads to Africa where the latest bioterrorism threat is literally transforming the people and animals of the city into mindless, maddened creatures. He is joined by a new partner, Sheva Alomar, who lends her strength, intelligence and sharp-shooting skills to the mission. In order to survive, Chris and Sheva must work together to take on the challenges of discovering the truth behind this evil plot. Utilizing a revolutionary new 2-player co-op mode of gameplay, players assume control of either Chris or Sheva and experience Resident Evil in new ways. Chapter 2-1, take all the items at the beginning and then Quit the game. Return to the game by selecting “Continue” and you will begin Chapter 2-1 with the items you got before you quit the game, however, the items at the beginning (you took just now) are still at the same place, so you can obtain them again. Repeat the same thing to get as many as you like.

Note: This works on any stage, this is just one example of how to benefit from it.

Resident Evil 5 Demo Coming to 360 January 26, PS3 a Week Later

Joystiq reports that the long-awaited Resident Evil 5 demo is coming very soon. While it’s been out on Japanese consoles for quite a while, American audiences haven’t gotten a chance to try the game. It will come to the Xbox 360 on January 26, and enjoy a week of exclusivity. After that, we assume the following Thursday, the PlayStation 3 will have its turn. Resident Evil 5 is on the most-anticipated list for a lot of gamers this season, but early previews have some wondering if it’s too similar to its predecessor. Luckily, soon players will get a chance to test the game and see how they feel about its similarities for themselves.
