Description
Two years after the Helghast assault on Vekta, the ISA is taking the fight to the enemy’s home world of Helghan. The ISA goal is direct: capture the Helghast leader, Emperor Visari, and bring the Helghast war machine to a halt. Assuming the role of Sev, a battle-hardened veteran and a member of the special forces unit known as the Legion, players lead a group of highly trained soldiers on a mission to take out the Helghast threat. For Sev and his squad, the invasion of Helghan is just the beginning. Tasked with securing Pyrrhus, the Capital City, the team quickly discovers that the Helghast are a formidable enemy on their home planet. Not only have they adjusted to the planet’s hostile conditions, they have also harnessed a source of power they can now use against the ISA. Sev discovers his squad isn’t just fighting enemy forces – their fiercest opponent may be the planet itself.

Easy touchdownsGet a spread set with two receivers on one side. Then, do a hot route on the inside receiver, and press the Right Analog-stick in the opposite direction of the quarterback, making an outer slant. This should help you get a lot of yards and score.
Easy trainingYou can make depth chart changes to make training players easier. For example, if you are training someone on defense, such as a linebacker, go to the depth chart and substitute the running back for someone with a lower rating. This will make things easier when you do the lineman challenge. You can use this trick to help train almost any position.
Select any player in Superstar modeGo to “My Madden“, and select “Rosters”. Go to “Player Management”, and select “NFL Greats”. Release whoever desired. Then, go to “Free Agents”, and put the desired player on a team. When you start Superstar mode, play as a rookie and find your player. If you selected a great, he should be close to the top. This also works if you create a player. When you create a player and put him on a team, he is a rookie. When you go to Superstar mode, he should also be there.
Getting first round draft pick in Franchise modeAfter all Week 17 games have been played (including your own), trade all of your draft picks to the worst team in the NFL. Once you have traded all of them, you will have the first pick of every round instead of whatever you had. Note: This only works if you have turned the trade deadline off before starting your franchise.
Re-signing players for less in Franchise modeUse the following trick to re-sign players for less in the off-season. When you go to re-sign players, go to the “Player Management” screen first. Change the player that you want to re-sign to another position, such as a kicker or punter (the worst overall possible). Go back to re-sign that player for a lot less. Note: You cannot save the change unless you have enough players at that position after you change the player’s position. For example, to change a cornerback to a kicker, you must have four other cornerbacks remaining.
Different free agents in Franchise modeIn the off-season, after you re-sign your players, save the game. Enter Free Agent mode. If you do not like the free agents available (for example, if you need a top wide receiver and there are none), reload the game until you like the players that are available. You can also do this to make your division easier. For example, if you are the Jets and Randy Moss goes from the Patriots to the Rams, then you do not have to worry about facing a player like that twice a season.
Placing Brett Farve on the JetsGo to “My Madden”, and select “Rosters”. Go to “Player Management”, and select “NFL Greats”. Find Brett Farve, and release him. Then, go to “Free Agents”, and sign him to the Jets or any team desired.

Razer made waves in the PC peripheral market with their high-precision Razer Boomslang mouse, and has steadily grown a healthy business with more advanced mice over the last several years (in the face of competition from the likes of Microsoft and Logitech). Now it has set its sights on the other half of the “mouse and keyboard” PC gaming control equation.
The company’s gaming keyboard, dubbed the “Tarantula,” is claimed to be the “World’s smartest keyboard.” Like its Copperhead mouse, the keyboard contains its own memory and can store macros and commands, so you can set it up on your own PC and take it to the LAN party without the need to reprogram it. There are five profiles, and in each one you can fully reprogram every single key on the keyboard. If you want the Windows key to open the scoreboard in Counter-Strike, that’s no problem. In addition, there are five macro keys on the left of the keyboard and five to the right of the number pad, giving you ten programmable macros per profile.
When we spoke with Razer’s CEO at CES, he informed us that this will be the first low-latency keyboard on the market. Nobody talks about keyboard latency, but according to Razer, it’s actually quite bad (over 120 milliseconds on most keyboards). The Tarantula will feature a latency of less than 8ms. Another nifty feature: You won’t be limited to “chording” (or pressing at the same time) only 3 keys. The Tarantula features anti-ghosting technology that allows you to chord as many keys together as you want. Other innovations include short-throw, silent keys that are easily removable with a little plastic snap-off key tool, so you can wash them. The keyboard will also feature a pair of USB ports and both headphone and microphone jacks. The design and software are still being finalized—the Tarantula won’t ship until around May of this year for $99.99.
If that sounds like it’s a bit steep for your gaming peripheral budget, consider the Razer Krait mouse. With an MSRP of $39.99 (and e-tail availability probably $10 less), this is a gaming mouse that won’t break the bank. It only has three buttons, but it still features most of the things Razer is known for, including 1600 DPI sensitivity, lightweight, a thin and light cord, and lots of tweaking options in the drivers. The mouse is optimized for real-time strategy games, with a new “rebound” technology that makes the buttons just a little bit springy, which is said to increase the number of clicks per second you can achieve. It’s also a little smaller than other Razer mice, good for the Asian market where RTS games are most popular but also handy for the Western world’s smaller-handed gamers. The Krait is almost ready to ship, and should be on shelves by the end of the month.
